about

I trimmed my bad branches
to break some old habits,
differ my thought process
I've got to let it go
I claimed my cold casket
the depths of Hell had it!
You call that sharp practice,
I guess I'll never know

But we slept organ to organ
And aimed our arrows out
I'll keep time in the sunlight
At least for now

I lost, but was winning
took what I was given
Now feel my blood thinning
evaporate through my veins
So I'll depart finally
walk toward the light blindly
Don't look, you won't find me
I've rotted away with the rain

So try and forgot my name
And I'll try to do the same
But I think of it every day
There's no escape
There's no escape
